NAB amendment to victimise opponents: Hashmi.

MULTAN -- Veteran politician Javed Hashmi said that by making amendments to the accountability laws, Prime Minister Imran Khan proved that the institution was established to make politicians switch their loyalties.

In a statement issued here on Saturday, Mr Hashmi said that except for retired Justice Javed Iqbal, all the previous heads of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) whether they were former generals or judges, admitted that they could not take action against anyone on their own.

'With the introduction of the recent ordinance, it is obvious that the friends of Imran Khan will be happy. Considering my experience I would say that it is a black law which has been further blackened and is being used against members of opposition parties.
