NA secretariat refuses to accept resignations of PTI MNAs.

ISLAMABAD -- National Assembly (NA) secretariat has refused to accept the resignations unless they appear in person in connection with verification of their resignations.

According to sources Deputy speaker NA Qasim Soori had received resignations of over 120 MNAs of PTI including former Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan that they were going to resign from NA seats.

Qasim Soori issued directives to respective department of NA secretariat that the resignations of these members be accepted and notification thereof be issued. The notification be sent to Election Commission to declare the seats of these members vacant.

However the sources said NA secretariat has refused to accept them without verification and complete scrutiny.
