Musharraf: Peaceful protests held against unjustified court ruling.

KARACHI -- The mega port city witnesses various huge protests, demonstrations, rallies today on Thursday in favour of former President of Pakistan and Ex-Chief of Army Staff General (R) Pervaiz Musharraf. According to the details, upon unjustified, unfair Islamabad special court verdict announcing sentence to Pervez Musharraf to death in absentia for treason over his 2007 imposition of emergency rule. A huge rally ended at Karachi Press Club was headed by Umair Iqbal Chairman 'Karachi Bachao Tehreek' and Jag Karachi along with Dr. Farhat Abbas Ex-Secretary Sindh Medical Faculty.

Dr.Hameedullah Malik Executive Administrator NICVD and a number of civil society members including notables, educationists, teachers, professors, professionals and not last but least a large number of school to university students etc. Various political parties are also seen protesting the court decision and demanding justice from the judicial system. People participating protests, rallies demonstrations express their concerns, feeling in favour of Former President and unitarily rejected apex order rather termed it biased, baseless, unfair and unjustified.

They also reminded wrong court order which hanged Former Prime Minister Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto who made Pakistan the first Atomic Power in the Islamic countries of the world; and decades later Supreme Court of Pakistan itself accepted that the decision was totally wrong.
