Murder charge added to boy's kidnapping case.

ISLAMABAD -- Police have added a murder charge to the FIR registered in the kidnapping case of a five-year-old boy, who was found dead on Tuesday, Dawn has learnt.

The boy was kidnapped on Dec 21 from his house at Dhok Jillani and later his body was recovered from a rented house on Dec 24.

The police have arrested four persons, including a cousin of the boy over their involvement in the kidnapping and murder.

Earlier, the police registered the case under PPC 364-A.

When contacted, Bhara Khau Sub-Divisional Police Officer ASP Farooq Ahmed Virk told Dawn that PPC section 302 was added to the case, as the boy was kidnapped and recovered dead.

The suspects gave sedatives to the boy and tied and kept him in inhuman condition, he added.

The autopsy on the boy's body was conducted to establish the cause of death, ASP Virk said, adding that either they boy died due to sedatives overdose or...
