Murad, American DCM discuss flood devastations, relief work.

KARACHI -- Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah in his meeting with Mr. Andrew Schofer, the American Deputy Chief of Mission said that Pakistan, particularly Sindh, has paid for climate change for which the developed countries would have to mitigate its effects by taking necessary measures.

Shah said that the collapse of three million houses and displacement of 1.5 million people has created a humanitarian crisis in the province and still various villages, towns, and portions of highways and railways tracks are under water. 'We are trying to clear the railway tracks and highways for smooth flow of traffic, particularly the good transport,' he said.
