Muqam promises mega uplift projects in Shangla.

SHANGLA -- Adviser to the prime minister on political and public affairs Amir Muqam on Friday said the federal government would execute mega development projects in Shangla district, especially in the energy sector, for the people's development.

He was addressing a ceremony held in Puran to lay foundation stone of a grid station and inaugurate the newly-installed power transformers, transmission lines and poles.

MNA Ibadullah Khan, former MPA Fazalullah Khan and Chakesar tehsil council chairman Bakht Alam Khan and Peshawar Electric Supply Company chief executive Gul Nabi Syed were also present on the occasion.

The prime minister's adviser said he was striving for the development of Shangla and other districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, which had been neglected by the previous federal and current provincial government.
