Munika's hand behind new FBR chairman's appointment alleged.

Islamabad -- It has been alleged that the first lady's former husband Khawar Manika's hand is behind the appointment of new FBR chairman.

A credible source told Online that Javed Ghani, newly appointed FBR chief, is a close friend of Khawar Manika. Munika and Ghani both were from the customs department and they were in good relations.The source said that Manika was allegedly putting efforts to secure a top position for Javed Ghani and in this regard, he had met various influential officials in the government to ask them to use their influence.

The source said that Khawar Munika, in spite of his retirement, has continued his interference in the government affairs and he has been witnessed visiting different ministries for holding meetings with ministers.
