MQM-P Seeks to Secure Sindh Opposition Office as PTI Faces Disarray.

KARACHI -- The Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) is engaged in discussions to appoint its opposition leader in the Sindh Assembly, as reported by media sources on Sunday.

Being the second-largest party in the Sindh Assembly following the disarray within the PTI, MQM-P intends to submit its application in the provincial legislature to claim the office of the Leader of the Opposition, according to party sources.

The MQM-P is considering various party leaders for the prestigious position, including Raana Ansar, Ali Khurshidi, Khawaja Izharul Hassan, Javed Hanif, and Mohammad Hussain, as stated by party sources.

Sources further reveal that the party will make a final decision after consulting with the Rabita Committee within the next few days.
