MQM equally responsible for rise in petroleum prices: Ghani.

KARACHI -- The Pakistan Peoples' Party (PPP) government in Sindh on Sunday held the Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) equally responsible for rise in the prices of petroleum products.

Criticizing the MQM for not raising its voice against increase in the prices of petroleum products, Sindh PPP minister Saeed Ghani said that if the MQM-P has any objections on this decision, it should part away from the government.

'When the PPP's government increased the prices of petrol because it became expensive in the international market, the MQM threatened to leave our government four or five times because of the hike in price petroleum products,' Saeed Ghani maintained.
