Mosques: SOPs violation (2).

APROPOS the news item '80pc mosques in Punjab violate govt-ulema agreement on Taraweeh: report' (April 26). According to the report, a survey of 194 mosques in Islamabad and 14 cities of Punjab conducted by 40 observers, revealed that in 96 per cent of the observed mosques, people were found praying on pavements and roads, while 89pc of the worshippers did not wear masks.

Also, in 72pc of the mosques, the mandatory six-foot distance was not maintained between the worshippers, while 69pc of them did their ablution in the mosques.
