More patients recover from Covid-19.

RAWALPINDI -- As many as 126 patients were discharged from hospitals after recovering from Covid-19 on Friday while 37 people tested positive. However, no deaths were reported.

In Rawalpindi district, there are currently 465 active patients out of whom 68 are in hospitals while 397 are under home isolation. Around 457 patients are awaiting results of their coronavirus serology.

As many as 30 of the new patients belong to Rawalpindi and seven are from outside the district; 62 patients are admitted to Rawalpindi hospitals including 13 in Benazir Bhutto Hospital, eight in Fauji Foundation Hospital, 11 in Holy Family Hospital, two in Red Crescent Hospital, 22 in Rawalpindi Institute of Urology, one in Begum Akhtar Rukhsana Memorial Trust Hospital and five in Hearts International Hospital.

Almost five patients are on ventilators, 25 required oxygen support and 32 are stable.

Commissioner retired Capt Mohammad Mehmood told Dawn that the number of patients had reduced in Rawalpindi Division and more patients were recovering which was a good sign. However, he said, safety measures must still be adopted and in this connection district...
