PEOPLE already knew that tough times lay ahead and this year's budget would call for some painful but necessary measures. It was, thus, with great anticipation that people like me saw the unveiling of the federal budget on June 10, for once expecting the government to announce some tough austerity measures. However, sadly, I was disappointed. The budget was quite similar to those presented in previous years, and once again failed to tax those with the most money.
