Moot told concept of 'business angels', technopreneurs can help Pakistan economy stabilise.

LARKANA -- Pakistan can achieve economic growth and stability if the concept of business angels and technopreneurs is introduced at the grassroots level with proper coordination of businessmen, academics and the government.

This was the focus at the concluding session of the second International Youth Entrepreneurs' Summit 2023 held at the Sindh University (SU) Larkana campus the other day.

Speaking as the keynote speaker, SU Larkana campus Pro Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Azhar Ali Shah said Europe and other advanced countries were benefitting from the concept of business angles who were successful businessmen in their respective fields with plenty of resources along with skills and experience.

They invested part of their assets and experience to help young entrepreneurs establish new businesses, creating more employment opportunities and once established, they themselves would become business angles creating an infinite wave of entrepreneurs' growth, he said.

Dr Shah said the government needed to introduce policies and incentives to create business angels' environment across the country. Dr Majid Buledi from Turkey talking about entrepreneurs' digital path towards successful business establishment explained the techno-entrepreneurship process for designing developing and integrating technology tools in business. He also touched upon the impact of mobile phones on business, citing Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, ChatGPT and advertising on TV for digital marketing.
