Mongolia and Belarus Look to Boost Cooperation

Last Friday, Prime Minister Ch.Saikhanbileg met with Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus Vladimir Semashko, who paid an official visit to Mongolia from March 16 to 19 at the invitation of his Mongolian counterpart, Ts.Oyunbaatar, to discuss possibilities for strengthening relations and cooperation between the two countries.

Beginning the meeting, Semashko thanked the PM for the reception. Semashko underlined that there are great possibilities for developing and strengthening mutual cooperation between the two countries. He presented the PM with proposals for sectors that have great potential for mutually beneficial results.

Prime Minister Ch.Saikhanbileg supported the Belarusian Deputy Prime Minister's initiatives, and said that Mongolia is interested in landscaping equipment from Belarus, intercity buses, heavy machinery, high-quality wheat, and fertilizer.
