Minorities playing vital role in country's uplift: minister.

SIALKOT -- Punjab Minister for Special Education Chaudhry Muhammad Akhlaq Monday said that minorities, particularly the Christian community, were playing key role in progress and development of the country.

Addressing a gathering, organized by the Sialkot church administration at a hotel, he said Christians offered sacrifices for defence and progress of the country.

"In Pakistan, people of all faiths have the right to live according to their religious beliefs," he added.
