Minor girl murdered after being raped in Nowshera.

NOWSHERA -- Police is investigating the murder case of the sevenyear-old girl, Eawiz Noor, whose body was found in Kaka Sahib area of Nowshera. Police feared that she might have been abused sexually before the murder. According to police, the girl went out of her house for religious class at 3:00pm on Saturday, but did not return home. The body of the girl was found near a small garden near the victim's house late in the night. Police said the real cause of the death of the girl will be ascertained in post mortem report. A case has been registered and investigation is underway. Police have also arrested two accused, Abrar and Rafique, who were nominated in the first information report (FIR) and they are being interrogated. The two accused are neighbours of the victim girl. Deputy Commissioner Shahid Ali Khan has expressed concern over the incident and said the culprits involved in the heinous crime will face severe punishment.

He praised police for immediately arresting the nominated accused in the case and hoped that the case will be taken to its logical conclusion soon.
