Minister inaugurates Rs70m X-Ray machine in Dera hospital.

DERA ISMAIL KHAN -- Minister of State for Poverty Alleviation and Social Safety Faisal Karim Kundi on Tuesday inaugurated a high-resolution X-Ray machine worth Rs70 million at the District Headquarters Hospital, Dera Ismail Khan, in order to provide best healthcare facilities to patients.

During his visit to the hospital, the minister also took a round of various wards, private rooms and the trauma centre. He also interacted with doctors and met patients and inquired about treatment facilities and medicines available to them.

Later, talking to mediapersons, Faisal Kundi said the federal government would take all possible measures to provide the best healthcare to the people at their doorstep.

Replying to a question regarding the performance of the previous PTI government in health sector, the minister said politics should be avoided over the issue of people's health, adding whosoever worked for improvement in health sector should be appreciated.
