Minister given briefing on Ramazan bazaars arrangements.

LAHORE -- The City administration on Saturday gave a detailed briefing to Minister for Industries and Trade Mian Aslam Iqbal, MPAs and ruling party leaders regarding arrangements/preparations for Ramazan.

In a meeting, presided over by the minister, the city admin team, headed by Deputy Commissioner Saleha Saeed, briefed the participants on the provision of subsidy on 19 essential items of daily use through green channel in Ramazan bazaars.

'Besides subsidy, we will also ensure provision of other things in all the bazaars on the rates less than the open market to facilitate the people in all Ramazan bazaars. The administration has also notified several officers as price control magistrates who would keep monitoring Ramazan bazaars, open markets, vegetable/fruit markets etc so that no one could dare create artificial shortage of commodities and sell various commodities at economical prices,' Ms...
