Mills sealed over flour embezzlement.

GUJRAT -- Assistant Commissioner Ahsan Mumtaz on Friday sealed a flour mills and suspended its official wheat quota over embezzlement of subsidised flour.

An official team, led by the AC, inspected the record register of Chenab Flour Mills, GT Road, and examined its record registers of flour sales point. However, when the authorities checked the sale points mentioned in the mills record, there were sale points mentioned in it.

The AC immediately ordered to seal the mills and suspended the official wheat quota of the company forthwith.

The AC said the administration had been strictly monitoring the flour mills and sale points to avoid flour shortages. He vowed to stop smuggling of flour.
