Mikael secures three titles.

KARACHI -- The week-long tennis event ended as Mikael Ali Baig swept the under-16, under-14 and doubles titles at the 11th Essa Lab National Seniors and Juniors Tennis ChampAionships here at the Modern Club on Friday.

In the under-16 final, Mikael after losing the first set against Lahore's top seed Asad Zaman staged a brilliant comeback to win the decider 7-6, 6-7, 6-2 while in the under-14 final Mikael routed Samer Zaman 4-1, 4-1. Mikael completed the hat-trick of titles when he teamed up with Nabeel Qayum in the boys under-14 doubles and beat Amir Mazari and Samer Zaman 2-4, 4-1, 10-6.
