Mercury falls to 7.5AdegC in city.

KARACHI -- The cold wave continued to grip Karachi and other parts of the province on Wednesday as temperature in some city areas dropped to 7.5 degrees centigrade.

Despite the fact that some parts of the city witnessed temperatures below 6AdegC, the city's minimum representative temperature remained 7.5AdegC, as it was recorded in the department's oldest standardised observatory, which is located in the old airport area.
