Meeting between PM, US President remained very useful: Qureshi.

DAVOS -- Foreign Minister Makhdoom Shah Mahmood Qureshi has said the meeting between Prime Minister Imran Khan and the US President Donald Trump remained very useful.

In a statement on Wednesday, he said Prime Minister Imran Khan raised several important issues and sought the US President's support regarding the FATF. Imran Khan also apprised him about the steps taken by Pakistan to meet the requirements of FATF.

The Foreign Minister said it was decided in the meeting that a trade delegation from the US will visit Pakistan.

On Kashmir dispute, Shah Mahmood Qureshi said the US President expressed his concerns on the situation and assured that he will talk on this dispute. He said the US President called for the resolution of Kashmir dispute.

Shah Mahmood Qureshi said the US President was also apprised about Pakistan's concerns on the tensions in the region.

Meanwhile according to a private TV channel, Qureshi said that United States President Donald Trump had assured the Pakistani delegation at the World Economic Forum in Davos that he would soon visit Pakistan.

"US President Donald Trump has assured us that he will soon visit Pakistan," the foreign minister said in a statement issued hours after a meeting between Prime Minister Imran Khan and the US President on the sidelines of the WEF.

"I was present at the meeting between PM Imran and US President Trump. It lasted for one hour and was very productive," Qureshi said...
