Mechanic killed in Haripur.

HARIPUR -- A mechanic was killed and two truck drivers injured in two incidents in Haripur city, police said on Wednesday.

The Hattar police quoted Shehzad, the owner of Hattar Engineering Workshop, as saying his partner, Mehtab Ahmad, 42, suffered a critical head injury after being hit by an iron piece from a lathe machine at the workplace.

The injured was shifted to the local trauma centre, where he died from excessive bleeding.

Also, two dump trucks collided head-on on the Khanpur Road near Tofkiyan area here injuring their drivers.

The injured, including Banaras and Safdar, were admitted to the tehsil headquarters...
