Measures Adopted for Protection of Citizens Against Criminals, Extortionists

Commissioner of Karachi, Syed Hashim Raza Zaidi and Karachi Administrator, Mohammad Hussain Syed in a joint meeting on Thursday extensively reviewed measures adopted for the protection of citizens against criminals and extortionists.

The meeting also attended by additional commissioners and deputy commissioners of the metropolis, besides other senior officials, acknowledged the fact that security of Karachiites, including common citizens and members of business and trade communities were among their top most administrative and ethical responsibilities.

It was agreed that the recently initiated scheme to install CCTVs throughout the city and a close network among all law enforcing agencies and security apparatus would be expedited and streamlined.
