MC seeks disciplined planning at city level.

KARACHI -- Metropolitan commissioner Dr Syed Saif- Ur -Rehman said Saturday that planning in a disciplined way required for solving city problems for which the government was making efforts. 'Important city parks and footpaths have been widened by removing encroachments from there so the people could be facilitated. These facilities are used in the world for people and not for commercial activities. Several artists, poet and players from Karachi showed their skills at international level and it is a good omen that literary events being held in Karachi,' he said while addressing the session of Karachi literature festival as guest speaker on the topic of 'problems and difficulties of Karachi' at a local hotel today.

The commissioner said still, a lot can be done to bring improvement to the administrative setup of city as Karachi had posh areas as well...
