Maulana Fazl terms foreign funding case as 'biggest scandal in political history of country and Imran Khan is central accused of case'.

ISLAMABAD -- The opposition Pakistan Democratic Movement's (PDM) scheduled march to the Election Commission of Pakistan today (Tuesday) will be a protest and not an "attack", the alliance's President Maulana Fazlur Rehman said on Monday. Maulana Fazlur Rehman termed the foreign funding case as the 'biggest scandal in the political history of the country and Imran Ahmed Khan Niazi is central accused of the case' and said that Imran Khan had created political instability by taking "Mother of NROs". He said that Imran Khan collected millions of rupees from the whole world illegally on the name of party.

Addressing a press conference with Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Vice President Maryam Nawaz Sharif, former prime minister Raja Pervez Ashraf, former prime minister and Senior Vice President of PML-N Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, Ahsan Iqbal Chaudhry, Alhaj Akarm Khan Durrani, Mian Iftikhar Hussain and other leaders after a PDM Steering Committee meeting in Islamabad, Maulana Fazlur Rehman said PDM members were democratic people and followed the Constitution and law. "We want freedom of democracy in the country because that is the demand of the Constitution and the law," he added.

He said the meeting discussed the strategy for today's (Tuesday's) protest outside the ECP and it was decided that "the PDM leadership will enthusiastically stage a protest demonstration in front of the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) regarding the foreign funding case."
