THIS is with reference to the report 'Imran invokes Mujib parallel as PTI unsure of march destination' (Nov 2). The parallels drawn with the Awami League need to be revisited. On May 1, 1970, as can be checked from the archives, Sheikh Mujibur Rehman had said at Hatiya that the elections were meant for the framing of a constitution and not for forming a government.
