Marri seeks announcement of PTI foreign funding case.

KARACHI -- arachi (28, July): Federal Minister for Poverty Alleviation and Social Safety and Central Information Secretary of PPP-P Shazia Atta Marri on Thursday demanded of the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) to announce the 'long-delayed verdict in the prohibited foreign funding case against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf soon.

The judgment of foreign and prohibited funding case against PTI should be accounted sooner as Imran Khan is challenging the writ of the state due to the prohibited foreign funding case, she said in a statement.

Marri uttered that records had proven that PTI Chief Imran Khan had received seven and a half million US dollars transactions from different countries in the prohibited funding.

Marri said that the verdict in the PTI prohibited funding case had been delayed by the Election Commission of Pakistan for the last eight years and a criminal was being unjustly given a relief at the stake of national security.
