Manager held, hotels sealed for hosting guests in Shangla.

SHANGLA -- The tehsil administration, Bisham, has launched a crackdown on hotels for violating the Section 144 and SOPs enforced by the government to help control the spread of coronavirus pandemic.

Following a tip-off, assistant commissioner, Bisham, Khuram Rehman Jadoon, carried out crackdown on hotels keeping guests while using back doors secretly. He booked manager of a hotel and registered a case against him under section 188 of PPC.

Mr Rehman told Dawn that some hotels hosting the guests had also been sealed.

Meanwhile, the assistant commissioner also conducted raids in markets and sealed a medical store for selling expired medicines. He warned the medical store owners of punitive action if they sold expired medicines.
