Man, sons booked for manhandling Lesco team.

OKARA -- A man along with his two sons was booked for manhandling and snatching cash from members of a Lahore Electric Supply Company (Lesco) recovery team.

The first information report lodged by the assistant operations manager states that a Lesco recovery team went to village Bahawaldas and demanded defaulter Manzoor Ahmad to present receipt of his bill paid or the default amount. But Ahmad called his sons, Imran and Zeeshan, and attacked the team.

The men manhandled the team and also took away recovery cash worth Rs52,400 from them. A case was registered at Dipalpur Saddar police station under sections 186, 506 and 379 of the PPC against the father and sons.
