Man shot dead over matrimonial dispute.

KARACHI -- A man was shot dead and another wounded in a matrimonial dispute - originating in the Usta Mohammed area of Balochistan - in the outskirts of the city on Friday, police said.

They added that Younus Shahmir, 33, was shot dead while Shah Bux, 25, injured in the Ghaghar Phatak area.

They were taken to a nearby 100-bed hospital in Steel Town where Younus, who had sustained a bullet wound in the abdomen, was pronounced dead. Shah Bux, who had received bullet injuries also in the abdomen, was later shifted to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre for further treatment, said the Edhi Foundation spokesperson.
