Man shot dead near Superhighway.

KARACHI -- A 4-year-old man was shot dead off the Superhighway early on Wednesday morning, said police and rescue services officials.

They added that Obaid Ali was shot at and wounded by gunmen near the terminal of a private bus service.

He sustained critical bullet wounds and was taken to the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital, where doctors pronounced him dead on arrival.

The incident occurred at around 4.8am. The motive for the killing could not be ascertained immediately.
