Man shot dead in Lakki.

LAKKI MARWAT -- A man was killed over a women-related dispute near Landi Mir Salam locality in the limits of Tajori police station on Saturday.

Police said Munirullah was attacked by his rivals near the village and he died instantly.

They said the attackers identified as Nek Mohammad, Niazmatullah, Dost Ali and Tariqullah escaped the scene.

Police said locals shifted the body to a hospital in Tajori town which was later handed over to relatives after postmortem. They said investigation had begun into the killing after registration of case.

Meanwhile, police arrested two people, including a drug trafficker, in Naurang town on Saturday. Acting on a tip-off, Shaheed Asmatullah Khan Khattak police station personnel intercepted a rickshaw near Nazri Adda and seized 750 gram hashish from a man.

The man identified as Uzair Rehman was arrested and a case was registered against him.

The same police captured Danish Gulfam near Nar Sardar Maidadkhel and recovered an AK-47 rifle and bullets from him.
