Man killed by nephews on 'suspicion of necromancy'.

BAHAWALPUR -- A man was allegedly killed by his four nephews here on Thursday at village 12-BC.

Complainant Farzana Bibi in her application to police alleged that four brothers Kamran, Mohsin, Naveed and Muhammad Ashiq attacked her husband Ijaz with clubs and killed him.

She said they suspected that their uncle Ijaz did some necromancy, rendering their father disabled.

Baghdadul Jadid police have registered a murder case against the suspects with no arrest and shifted the body for autopsy.

BODY FOUND: The Abbasnagar police on Wednesday night found body of a girl from a canal near Lal Sohanra Park, about 35 kms from here.

Police spokesman Jam Sajid said police had registered a first information report against unidentified suspects and shifted the body for post-mortem examination.
