Man injured by three brothers over marriage row.

BAHAWALNAGAR -- Three bothers allegedly cut off their fourth brother's tongue, stabbed his eyes and beat him over a marriage dispute in the Sukhraampura area of Bahawalnagar. Of them, two were arrested on Monday.

A first information report was registered at the Sadar police station against Ahmed Shuja, Ghulab Ali and Sarfraz on the complaint of the victim's wife.

According to Zulfiqar's wife Bibi Saen, her husband secretly married Shuja's fiance four months ago, which angered his brothers. Shuja called Zulfiqar to collect his land money. There, she said, Shuja tied Zulfiqar with the help of two brothers, Gulab Ali and Sarfraz. She said the brothers tortured him and ripped his tongue out using pliers and also stabbed his eyes using a screwdriver as a result he lost his eyesight.
