Man held for allegedly killing wife.

ISLAMABAD -- A man was arrested on charge of killing his wife in Sohan area on Wednesday, police said.

Investigating officer Inspector Munir Ahmed told Dawn that the victim had an injury in her head.

The victim's brothers alleged that her husband had murdered their sister, but the suspect denied the allegation, claiming that she had consumed poison, he added.

She was brought to a hospital by her husband where she died, the inspector stated, adding that later her brother informed the police alleging that she was murdered by her husband.
