Man, daughter die on road in Swabi.

SWABI -- A man and his teenage daughter were killed while his wife was seriously injured in a road accident here on Monday, police said.

The accident occurred on Swabi-Topi Road.

The three members of the family were on way to their relatives' house on a motorcycle, and when they reached near the Baja by-pass, a car coming from the opposite direction collided with the motorcycle, seriously injuring the three riders.

They were taken to the district headquarters hospital where Amjid Ali and his daughter, Rameeza Begum, succumbed to injuries. The wife of the deceased survived.

The police registered an FIR, and were looking for the car driver, who escaped the area.

Meanwhile, a man killed his brother in Shewa village on Monday, said police.

Registering FIR in Parmuli police station, wife of the deceased alleged that her brother-in-law, Jawad, opened fire on her husband, Asif Khan, killing him on the spot.

The cause of the incident is stated to be a dispute over a quarrel among their children. Police have registered an FIR.
