Man arrested for killing five family members.

GUJRANWALA -- Police claim to have arrested the man who had killed five members of his family in Ghakhar Mandi over a marriage dispute on Friday.

Fayyaz Cheema, a resident of Kotli Sahian, wanted to marry his son with the sister-in-law of his nephew Sufyan Cheema.

Sufyan did not agree with the proposal. On Saturday, his mother-in-law Mahnaz, grandmother-in-law Parveen Bibi and two brothers-in-law Ahad and Shahid came to the house of Fayyaz in Kotli Sahian village.

Meanwhile, Sufyan reached there with an automatic weapon and opened fire on all those present there. As a result, his uncle Fayyaz and four members of the family of his in-laws were killed on the spot. Sufyan managed to escape from the scene.
