Liquor, mobile phone smuggling bid foiled at Karachi airport.

KARACHI -- Customs officials foiled a bid to smuggle illegal liquor and mobile phones at Jinnah International Airport Karachi, media reported on Monday.

Sources said that the Customs staff stopped a passenger namely Shehryar Amjad Barar travelling from Dubai to Karachi - on the basis of suspicion at Jinnah International Airport and confiscated mobile phones and liquor worth more than Rs10 million.

The customs officials confiscated 68 mobile phones and eight bottles of liquor and 212 packets of food...
