LG Minister Syed Nasir Hussain visits rain-hit areas in Karachi.

KARACHI -- Minister for Local Government Syed Nasir Hussain Shah, along with Secretary Local Government Roshan Ali Sheikh, Project Director CLICK Zubair Channa and officials of Solid Waste Management Board visited the city to review the situation in the city after rains and issued necessary orders.

On this occasion, the local government minister, while visiting various highways and districts, instructed the officers regarding the immediate drainage of water collected on the roads and continuous cleaning of drains. He also visited storm water drains and drains in Fishery area.

The provincial minister said that 38 major drains of the city were under the management of KMC and their cleaning was also their primary responsibility.
