Levies men complain about lack of facilities.

LAKKI MARWAT -- The personnel of Levies Force posted to Lakki Marwat district have complained about lack of facilities, especially unavailability of accommodation, shortage of weapons and lack of perks and privileges, and demanded of the government to take corrective steps without delay for their relief.

They were speaking at the 'darbar' held on the premises of the deputy commissioner's offices here on Thursday.

Local deputy commissioner Abdul Haseeb, who is also the commandant of the district Levies Force, listened to the personnel's problems and issued orders to the relevant officials for their early resolution.

Additional assistant commissioner of Lakki Marwat Najibullah Khan and additional assistant commissioner of Naurang Aminullah Khan were also present on the occasion.

The personnel complained that they're posted to the district headquarters complex and other places in the district but no residential facility was available to them.

They asked the government to upgrade their pay scales and provide them with the facility of obtaining free arms licences and funds under the medical reimbursement charges (MRC) head.
