Lecture on 'Management of Thalassemia without Blood Transfusion' held.

KARACHI -- Thalassemia is a major genetic and hereditary disorder of public health in Pakistan. There are 10 million carriers of this disease who spread this disease to their next generation.

These views were shared by Medical Suprintenednt, Mahar Medical College Hospital (MMCH) Sukkur, Dr. Tasleem Akhtar Khamisani while delivering a lecture on "Management of Thalassemia without Blood Transfusion - A Myth or a Reality" held at college`s Auditorium, on Wednesday.
