SARGODHA -- Lawyers besieged the court of the additional district and sessions judge (ADSJ) on Monday and attempted to lock the court.

A heavy contingent of police foiled their attempt but no one could attend the proceedings.

Additional District and Sessions Judge Anjum Raza Syed had rejected the application of a lawyer, Faiz Ahmad Bakhar, for registration of a case against the Bhalwal deputy superintendent of police (DSP) for allegedly insulting him in his office. The lawyers remained present outside the court till 4pm.
