THE Higher Education Commission (HEC) has been conducting a law assessment test (LAT) for admission to a law degree programme in a law college or a university.

The HEC has made this test mandatory for a candidate who wants to enroll in a law programme. The HEC has no proper schedule for conducting LAT, leaving the candidates guessing whether it will be conducted quarterly or thrice a year.

I urge the HEC authorities to announce a proper schedule for the test each year.
