Larkana police have recovered 51 abducted persons so far this year: DIGP.

LARKANA -- Larkana Range Police on Sunday reported that they had killed 59 outlaws in 673 alleged encounters, injured 175, arrested 1348 criminals and confiscated a large number of weapons and contraband from them.

The police also got released 51 abducted persons in this period during different operations, said Deputy Inspector General of Police, Larkana Range, Mazhar Nawaz Shaikh while talking to media on Sunday. He said that Larkana range police arrested 5910 wanted criminals, 8781 fugitives of law and confiscated 40695 kg contraband which include 2816 litres of wine.

He further said that 25 reported kidnapping cases emerged in the Larkana range during the year and 27 cases were unreported out of which 51 have been recovered.-RT/Agency

67 more coronavirus cases emerges in Pakistan

KARACHI:Pakistan on Sunday reported 67 more coronavirus infection cases and no death during the last 24 hours, says data issued by the National Institute of Health Pakistan on Sunday morning.

As per the latest NIH data, the death toll remained unchanged at 30,381, whereas the number of total infections now stood at 1,531,179 after adding the fresh 67 cases.
