Lahore DC issues workers convention's permit to PPP.

LAHORE -- Lahore Deputy Commissioner Afzal Danish issued a permit to the Pakistan People's Party which allows them to hold a workers' convention in Qasim Garden.

The permit stated that the leaders of the PPP will not be able to speak against the judiciary and religion, while the workers convention will also have to ban possession of every sort of arms.

The permit issued by Lahore DC stated that the Home Department-approved security agency can be hired for the internal security of the workers' convention. The list of security guards and party volunteers must be provided to the special branch, read the permit.

It further stated organizers of the convention will need to install CCTV cameras on the internal and external routes. At least one internal and external route must be allocated to VVIP figures.
