Labourer murdered over non-payment of ransom.

SUKKUR -- A young labourer, Abdul Hameed Shaikh, resident of Ghouspur of Kandhkot-Kashmore district, who was kidnapped by dacoits in Tangwani two weeks ago, was mercilessly murdered on Wednesday.

The kidnappers had demanded Rs2 million ransom on phone from his relatives for his safe release and threatened to kill him in case of non-payment of ransom, sources said.

The labourer belonged to a poor family and his relatives were unable to pay the ransom money. When the kidnappers were not paid the demanded ransom money, they killed him mercilessly.
