Labourer, beaten by cop, forced to withdraw complaint.

BAHAWALNAGAR -- The video of a masked man wearing Elite Force uniform and torturing a man in a local market has gone viral.

The footage shows the Elite Force official with a former councilor are beating labourer Muhammad Afzal, of Chak No 127-Murda, in the market. Afzal lodged a complaint with the police stating that on December 27 was intercepted by former councilor Liaquat Ali intercepted him in the market with the official who was hiding his face with a shawl and beat him.
