KVTC special children shine at 3rd National Para Taekwondo championship.

KARACHI -- They were differently-abled children of the Karachi Vocational Training Centre (KVTC) who ruled the roost by winning 21 medals in the third National Para Taekwondo Championship. A ceremony was held at the KVTC on Tuesday to honour the special children who won 11 gold and 10 silver medals. The KVTC team comprising 21 tireless students belonging to Sindh won 21 medals out of total 21 competitions. As many 150 participants across Pakistan participated in the championship. Secretary Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities Department Sindh Khalid Chahar and Chief Executive Officer KVTC Senator Haseeb Khan graced the occasion with their presence and awarded the medals to the winning team members. Among the gold medallists in different categories are Hasnain Azam, Simran Mahesh, Mustafa Jumani, Areej Aslam, Mughees Alam, Abdul Rahman Malik, Yasir Amin, Tabish Alam, Mustafa Khurram, Anees Afaaq and Abdullah Imtiyaz.
