KTH organises workshop on anaesthesia.

PESHAWAR -- A workshop was organised at Khyber Teaching Hospital here on Sunday to scale up techniques of medics regarding the ultrasound guided regional anaesthesia and ensure pain-free and safe surgeries of the patients.

The purpose of the event, organised by anaesthesia department of the hospital, was to improve the skills and utilise the modern techniques for the effective management of patients, a press release said.

Experts said that anaesthesia was the field of medicine that ensured patients pain-free and safe surgery by using the latest ultrasound technology, which enabled anaesthesiologists safely and efficiently guide needles to delivery drugs on top of various nerves in the body and render them numb.
